Free or affordable activities for you to enjoy
The Coral Coast is renowned as Fiji’s Adventure Capital. From the shores of the resort, guests can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing or go further afield to explore an array of world class adventure experiences including Rivers Fiji, the famous Beqa Shark Dive, Sigatoka River trip and Zip Line Fiji.
Sea kayaking / river kayaking:
Single and double ocean kayaks are available for complimentary use within the blue lagoon. If you prefer to venture further abroad, we offer an amazing kayaking safari downstream the Navua River.
SURFING LESSONS AT THE BEACHOUSE
Fiji’s best value for money Surf School! Costs $100 (FJD) for a 1.5 hour lesson. Taught by experienced and Accredited Surfing Instructors. All equipment is provided (Including: board hire, booties, leg ropes, sunscreen, beach instruction and boat transfers to the break). Lessons take place at the Beachouse reef, which offers both beginner and intermediate waves.
Paddle boarding / SUP downwinders:
Paddle boards and SUP’s are available for only $30 (FJD) per day for some fun in the blue lagoon. For $60 (FJD) The Beachouse crew will take you on a 5km downwind adventure and get The Beachouse truck to pick you and your guide up from the finish line.
Snorkelling Trips:
Snorkelling trips are operated by our resident comedian; Keni! The cost of snorkelling trips range from $25 (FJD) to $65 (FJD) depending on the chosen destination. If you prefer to explore our abundant reef on your own, snorkelling gear can be hired at reception for $15 (FJD) per day.
Fishing Trips:
The Beachouse specialises in recreational sports fishing (not game fishing) and typically we troll, pop and jig the local reef. All fish are prepared as meals and nothing goes to waste. We are also the home of the ‘South Korolevu Game Fishing Club’ which was founded by a couple of Beachouse regulars. If you get a good catch you may find your photo up on the plaque near the bar.
Island Trips:
We offer a day trip both Vatulele Island and Yanuca Island. They are both a 20km trip and there is a minimum requirement of five guests. Guests can enjoy snorkelling, fishing, caves, hiking and general adventure! Staff will prepare a beach barbecue lunch.
Bushtrek to Navola Falls:
This trek is a very popular four hour adventure hike organised by Juta from Navola Village. This experience costs $10 (FJD) and all proceeds goes directly to Navola Village.
Traditional Fijian massage:
For those who feel that they deserve to be pampered, Taru and/or Suzanna will be happy to relax and invigorate you with a traditional Fijian massage. A traditional Fijian massage costs only $40 (FJD) for an entire hour!
Beach Horse Riding:
Beach Horse Riding:
Eddie, from Navola Village, will be happy to take you for a horse ride along the beautiful bay. This activity costs $40 (FJD) per hour and all proceeds go directly to Navola Village.
Free Daily Yoga
Come join us for yoga at low tide.
We also do Fiji FIT bootcamps if you’re keen to break a sweat.
Free coconut jewellery and coconut weaving classes:
Spend some time with Mali getting creative making coconut shell bracelets and necklaces! This is a complementary activity.
Free Beach Volleyball:
The Beachouse holds a very competitive/ fun volleyball competition every afternoon. This is the perfect workout after enjoying our complimentary afternoon tea/coffee and baked goods!
